Fire the translater.......2007-10-23
I felt it was about time I upgraded from my old 1gb mp3 player to something a little more fancy. With a large array of options, functions and a cheap price tag I thought I would give the "Datawrite Nitro 4GB Portable MP4 Audio Player" a try, my first impressions were not the greatest.
The sound quality is good and the recording, video and picture features are very nice. The problem is the menu can be a little annoying, on a couple of occasions I would be flicking through different menus only to be sent back to the main menu for no apparent reason. Also there doesn't seem to be a function for having the music play randomly which is one of the reasons I wanted a new mp3 player. Now for the best of the worst, the manual. It reads as if it was translated into english by a cat walking across the keyboard, allow me to give you a sample of this masterpiece.
"The MP3 figures walkman product that uses our company to you first means a with gratitude.
Can be as soon as possible relaxed for the sake of you from if ground the operation this machine careful read the manual that we provide random, for the purpose of your ability the right usage was a machine originally."
Oh and my favorite quote "Use don't let player fall off to fall."
If you're looking for a cheap music player with good quality sound and don't mind having an unreadable manual then give this a go. If your new to MP3/MP4 players and need a manual to help you then I suggest you look else where for your music playing needs.
If you are going to buy this I suggest you get some good earphones while your at it as the ones you get with this are not very good.
