Amazing Camera.......2007-12-30

A christmas present to replace our ageing Olympus. Easy to set up, the battery charged up in less than an hour (we purchased from Amazon and did get a proper uk lead in the box unlike the other reviewer). Have been using it for a week now and the photographs are nothing short of superb, having transfered them onto our PC they are light years better than our Olympus which was itself a 5 star product just 3 years ago. The big LCD screen is a real plus. Looking forward to experimenting further with the many settings. Worth every penny and highly recommended.

Great Camera!.......2007-11-03

If you are looking for a digital camera with wide angle and a big zoom facility this is a great choice. The battery lasts a long time and there are in camera choices for a variety of scene options. It is easy to operate, giving a very basic option for complete novices and slightly more complex options for users who are familiar with the camera. The only reasons I havn't given it five stars are that it doesn't have a viewfinder, so composing a shot in strong sunshine could be a problem, and there is no control over apeture/shutter speed for advanced users. As a point and shoot camera I can't detect faults, and the combination of wide angle to long telephoto zoom is so useful!

Battery Charger issue.......2007-10-12

I'm not going to comment on the camera itself here, because I can't actually use it yet. The reason? The battery charger requires an adaptor plug for use in the UK (not supplied), despite the fact that its sold in the UK and has a UK warranty. There's nothing more annoying than geting a new toy and not being able to play with it. Pah!
