Yes it`s not perfect and yes it does hunt after dark or in poor light,however as a point and shoot camera its great,Ihave taken some great photographs with it- for its size and price its an amazing little camera

I have had this camera about a year and I think it's very good. I've always had brilliant photos from it, it coped well with taking action shots at 'Go Ape!' which amazed me. I believe that if you use the correct mode for the type of picture, then it should work fine. The movie option is good fun too. The size of the camera is great - small enough for an average sized bag and not too heavy either.

What a major dissapointment to buy something that does not do what is says on the box !!
I bought this camera for our daughters 18th birthday as her sister has a konica Revio C2 which is brilliant and smaller than this one too. the results are better especially at night.
This camera has been a dissaster and an embarrasment when our daughter has been out in clubs and pubs finding that the camera "hunts" so much it takes ages to take the photo and when it does ( after everyone has stopped smiling) the picture is usually blurred.
For the money, although it is nice and compact, it is not worth it especially if you intend taking photos indoors or at night.

The previous reviews regarding the low quality in dark conditions are unfair. The camera has a night port mode in the options menu which fires the flash 3 times, close, mid and far. This obtains very good pictures when the subjects are reasonably still. I would prefer a better picture with moving objects in low light, but asking a bit much for the price (I got the camera for £94 with a 128 card). A better camera in my opinion is the casio card style camera which seem to pull off the low light stuff better (a friend took one on a night out, pics were v good). You get what you pay for.
Oh, and in good light, this camera (x31) is fantastic value! Quite robost in the year I have owned it too, surviving a few stacks whilst snowboarding.
Disapointing.......2005-02-22
I was sooooo disapointed with this camera....i take over 3000 pics a year and always have a camera with me. I have a Sony digital camera which is fantastic however i wanted something alot smaller to carry around with me. I chose the Konica because i had previously used an APS Konica which was the best camera i have ever had.......this one was a sad disappointment. In daylight conditions this camera is absolutely fine, however in the evenings/dim lighting conditions such as clubs/pubs etc the camera cannot focus properly or provide a good enough flash to produce a decent picture. A complete waste of time and money in my personal view. A great shame.

There is no way this item costs £5 to ship. They charge you 1p to buy and £5 to ship. these are cheap ebay tactics used buy cheap sellers to escape tax and make it look like a better deal. I thought amazon was better than this, dont buy and get rid of companies like this for good.
Few oversights.......2007-11-05
The hinges on this case are not strong enough, after a week or 2, with littel opening/closing, the upper hinge has worn through to make a weak connection.
Also the opening at the bottom of the case for earphones, USB etc is only big enough for the apple earphones supplied with the ipod, when i try to use earphones with more plastic around the jack, they wont fit fully in.
