Acer CS-6531.......2006-12-03
I was looking to buy a compact and stylish digital camera, my main concern was to spend less than 100 pounds but still have a good sized lcd and a compact camera, i wanted at least 4-5 megapixels and good movie shooting. I was slightly sceptical about buying this as there were no customer reviews but i went ahead because of the good spec and price tag.
I am very glad i went for this camera. It is brilliant.
The pictures are clear and huge so can be printed on A3 without having to blow them up etc.
The screen is quality everyone i show the camera to goes wow impressive screen! exactly how i wanted one to be.
The controls are easy to use and there are various useful shooting modes.
The camera feels of high quality with a stylish aluminum outer case and it is a very nicely sized- can be sliped into your pocket easily.
The movies are of good quality and there is good sound capture.
The lion battery included lasts for about 100 shots on a 2-3 hr charge which is average. You can remove it so a spare probably could be bought.
When i recieved the package i was very impressed by what was included in the box- The charger is international, there is a uk, usa and european adaptors. There was a 64mb card included in the box which is useful as a back up card (hold about 20 pics)(i have a 512mb sd card which holds 150pics and 30min of video both in highest quality mode) and there was a good case- not really that protective but useful.
However I wouldnt say i was 100% please with the camera though because there are a few minor issues, when shooting things that are moving quickly u can use sports mode, however on this mode there has to be a lot of light because you cannot use the flash and the exposure is low so unless it is a bright sunny day your picture will probably turn out a bit dark.
Secondly there is multishot mode but it is weird because the pictures arent taken quickly at all- like 2 seconds apart so this again doesnt help if you wanted to catch a sporting sequence. You might be able to change how long the delay is but the manual isnt very helpful so i cannot work this out,i may email acer directly to see what they say.
But over all this camera is an amazing buy and i would recomend it.
hope this review helps

Not great.......2008-01-06
I bought these thinking that they would be an improvement on the inner earphones supplied with the Sony Walkman Nwz-a818, sadly they werent ! If you like a really sharp sound, with sharp top end graphic equalizer sound ie: sharp treble then you wont be dissapointed. However if you like things really base'y like me then they arent so good and the 'phones' supplied with the walkman are far better for this purpose.
Pathetic - do not buy!.......2007-11-29
I bought these earphones after reading numerous reviews and seeing peoples opinions but on arrival I have found out, to my horror, the reality. These earphones are absolutely pathetic. The bass is completely overbaring, the mid range is non existent as is the high end. I challenge anyone to try these then try some cheap sennheiser, shures or V-modas and you will instantly put the Sonys in the bin. No sound isolation and completely poor representation of the sound makes for an awful earphone. Not worth £5 let alone £40+. Sorry Sony but you have messed up badly with these!!!
Great bass, but poor mids and no isolation at all.......2007-11-28
I decided to invest in a pair of these after my old Boomgear SX-900S finally gave up the goat. I have used thes with my Creative Zen V+ MP3 player for 2 days now and am still not exactly sure where my money went... OK, they look and feel great, if a little heavy in my ears, and they came with a plush leather 'hard' case to store them in when not in use. The 13mm driver is huge and delivers beautiful rich clear bass, but too much of it... In fact, all of the pre-set equaliser settings on my ZEN V+ are rendered useless with these phones which crank up the lower frequencies to such an extent that the mids and highs are completely drowned! On the tube or the train, these are useless, as although the soft rubber buds fit snugly in your ears, they offer no sound isolation or background noise reduction at all. It could just be that I have chosen to use the headphones with a personal MP3 player - I will be trying them with my midi system later, but not before ordering another set of those Boomgear SX-900S phones which did a much better job in my ZEN!
Excellent Headphones.......2007-08-08
I bought these headphones as a replacement for my Sony EX71SL's when they fell to bits on me last week. Having used the new ones for a couple of days I have found the following pros and cons over my old headphones:
Pros:
=====
Sound quality is absolutely fantastic. No distortion in the bass at all - even at louder volumes, clear mids and crisp treble. On performing a direct comparison the sound is much more open and life like - fantastic. You can feel totally engrossed in the music and pick out subtle details you would never have heard with the EX71s. Whilst the EX90s do produce noticably less bass than the EX71s, it is by no means non existant and in my opinion is much more realistic. The bass has a much richer sound to it.
These headphones are not as expensive as some "higher end" models available. Given the sound quality they produce, I think they represent pretty good value for money.
Cons
====
The headphones are larger and make my ears ache slightly after extended use - and can be awkward to insert on occasion.
The headphones do not isolate as well - this has the effect of drowning out the bass levels in a more noisy environment and leaking more sound to irritate your fellow commuters. This has the advantage, though, that announcements can be heard without having to remove the headphones - sparing you the embarrassment of having to be physically evicted from a train which has broken down.
Conclusion
==========
In conclusion I am extremely happy with the new headphones. They offer a clarity massively surpassing that of the EX71s. I am slightly disappointed that the headphones do not isolate as well and leak more noise (hence the loss of one star), though this is more than made up for by the improvement in the overall sound. Highly recommended.
A Which? Recommendation & Quite Right too.......2007-08-06
These were the highest rated headphones in a recent Which? review. I was a bit dubious about in-ear plugs, as I've found them uncomfortable in the past. However, these are very comfortable indeed, with the variable sizing options particularly useful (my hubbie has one earhole smaller than the other - honest!!). Sound excellent, as you'd expect from Sony & the plugs mean a) no leakage (great on plane) & b) external background noise is cut out. Recommend them highly.
