Overall nice but.......2005-01-13
Uppers: Very light & compact, you can keep it inside your pocket and you will forget about it. Very easy to use, took me 10 minutes to figure the camera out. The price is cheap and the movie capture is not bad.
Downers: One big downer was, alot of my photos came out smudged, which showed perfectly on the camera, but when I copied the pics to my PC, it was blured and smudge, so technically speaking the shutter speed is slow. The digital zoom isn't as good as I expected. The viewer is dead simple, with no indication of battery life or nothing. The digital zoom only works in LCD view mode, which sucks battery life. It struggles to control the light.
Overall: Nice camera, when I was touring I could take my camera everywhere, where my friends with thier fancy digital SLR cameras couldn't.

A gift which is easy to use and a great intro to digital photography. I enjoy the camera which has a great feel and a smashing digital zoom. My 35mm may soon be a distant memory

Terrible battery life (I went through 4 brand new batteries and 2 already used batteries in about 10 minutes), mediocre picture quality in general lighting. It is compact and lightweight, but there are better cameras out there, so avoid this one

sends pic by e-mail which is great fun as it is quick and easy to do , if your using video mode you better have a good stock of batteries , but thats the same with any camera ,
