IPOD TOUCH LEATHER SLEEVE BLACK W/ DISPLAYPROTECT
Customer Reviews:
It's quite good..........2008-01-04
I have a 8gb iPod Touch and this case which I bought at Carphone Warehouse (and paid £25 for!!!).
So, since no-one has shared their thoughts yet, I figured i'd help you out.
The case looks good - it is made from a thick black leather with cream/white stitching around the sides. The bottom dips down so the Menu button can be reached, and has a gap at the top and bottom to fit the USB wire in, and the headphones, and a space at the top for the power/ standby button.
You also get a thin plastic screen cover that protects the iPod from being scratched on the glass front, however, put this on carefully, because mine is slightly wonky, and I haven't figured out how to, or even if I can remove it.
My only problem with the case is the fact that because it covers the back, it also covers the light sensor, which means that the Auto-brightness feature is unable to work, but this can be changed in the iPod Settings, by setting it at an unchanging level.
Overall, the case is a good, smart-looking protector for the iPod Touch.

I'm very happy with my new A2.......2006-11-05
Bought this little beauty last week. Sound quality is excellent and watching films on it is a delight. The player seems solid. The graphical user interface for browsing files as well and playing is very impressive. So far, the A2 has played every Divx film I've copied to it including some rare codecs. The clarity is superb. I've plugged the player into the car stereo to listen to music and lectures. I've recorded some lectures with the recorder option with excellent results. I copied tapes as well. Every conceivable cable you could use is supplied.
Some minor foibles:
I downloaded from the same internet site a number of lectures in .wma format. Some of them played fine while others gave an error. The player shows an "X" - unknown codec message. I converted these files to MP3 using an audio converter on my PC and they play fine now on the A2.
I've already used up most of the 30GB on the hard disk. I should have really bought the 60GB version even though it was considerably more.
The nipple like joystick for navigating through the menus and playing media files does take a bit of getting used to. It's easy clicking up, down for volume up and down and left and right for last track/next track. However, to play or pause a file you must press directly down on the nipple without leaning even the slightest amount to the left or right or up or down. This is tricky.
There are always things you would like a device of this size to do, such as including a wireless internet connection and browser or GPS software or even a built in camera but it's not supposed to be a micro PC. The bottom line is that it was designed to be a media player. So with this in mind it gets full marks. It plays music and films perfectly and has a very reasonable battery life. I'm very happy with my new A2.
The Fantastic A2.......2006-04-07
This is the most incredible little gadget that I have had the pleasure to own.
The LCD widescreen is very clear and shows surprising detail and clarity for its size. It is very simple to use, and very versitile. Whilst the iAudio website confirms that it is DivX 5 and before compliant, it happiliy plays DivX6 files. They load quickly, and can be wound forwards and backwards with no problem. No additional sync issues over how the files play on a PC either.
The unit is very easy to use, plugging into WinXP and becoming a mass storage drive. Just drag and drop your pictures, audio and video files and the unit copes and plays the files.
The battery life is great also, enough to watch 3 full length films with sound from the built in speakers, another film if you use the headphones. The accessories are good also, with various cables, manuals and a leather case including a stand to hold the unit up so you can watch the screen.
There are also frequent firmware updates which address any minor issues that are found with the unit by both iAudio and users who may requests to iAudio.
All in all a highly recommended unit, small enough to carry around, powerful enough to play all you would like and enough battery to last a transatlantic flight.
