Software problems.......2006-07-10
This camcorder is sold with Macintosh compatible software (Digital Video Solutions Disc Version 19.0) unfortunately the other software supplied (Roxio MyDVD) which allows download of the video to a computer is only compatible with a Windows based PC. The moral is if you have a Mac you cannot download video for editing and copying purposes. This has been confirmed by Canon Support.
This apart it is a good camera but, as a Mac user it is useless. So be warned.

Good Alarm Clock.......2008-01-03
This is a good alarm clock, with a clear display, and a ringing tone that gently wakes you without heart attacks. I've had one of these for about 5 years and am very happy with it. The radio time updating also works well.
The only criticism I have is that the sprung arm which forms a "v" from the main unit and upon which it rests suffered from fatigue in my case - I must have hit it a few too many times - it broke off. I'm planning on getting another Oregon Scientific clock now though as with this small exception I like their designs and in all other respects the clock was fine. Treat it kindly and this one will serve you well.
