these earphones have a excellent sound quality and bass and price is cheap but you must be aware that if regularly use them they would last you around four months.

I'm surprised people have rated these so highly! They are not soft or gum like the "gumy" title suggests, the actual bit that goes into the ear is rock hard, too large even for a 6foot male, and the sound quality is extremely poor, with little to no bass, worse than the cheap freebies you get with budget mp3 players! I'd take them back but for the fact that the packaging destroys itself when you open them. JVC shouldn't put their name to this crap!
Okay for the price.......2006-05-03
I bought these headphones about 5 months ago when my ipod ones broke. However the sound quality is nothing special (as to be expected at thid price) but the main problem i found whilst the headphones worked was that they fell out of my ears all the time. When walking in noisy areas i had to put the volume up to an unsafe level in order to hear my music and now after only 5 months of use the left ear-peice has stopped working altogether.
Only for a low budget.
