I've just bought a panasonic dmc fz7 with a 2 gig sd card. this gives around 600 pics at 6 megapixels. the battery allows for around 300 so I thought I'd invest in a spare. Saw this one at a price 1/5th of the original, in fact the postage set by Amazon was more than the cost of the battery! Delivery took 2 days from ordering, which was 2 days before the promised despatch date, not bad eh? Actually it's a higher rating than the original battery too, 800 ma compared to 750ma. Haven't managed to run it down yet despite taking pics of everything in sight, the computer, the fire, the stereo system, the tv, the girl friend, (she told me I had to take one of her)the garden.......and so on.

Signicant improvement.......2007-07-05
For the money, a great upgrade. Undoubtedly spending more (eg the Qunex TTV TV at 25 quid or so) will make a correspondingly larger difference, but the principle is established: upgrading the aerial lead can significantly improve your picture.
Give this one a try at a pocket money price, and if you want more improvement, consider a further upgrade.
Bad quality........2007-06-12
The quality is of pictures did not change much in comparision with the 1£ lead. Returned back. Bought one from maplins for 9£ which is excellent.
Not quite perfect.......2007-04-13
The first thing which attracted me to these leads was the price; normally shielded coaxial leads with gold-plated connecters retail for at least double the price of these. When they arrived, I was also impressed by the quality of the manufacturer's packaging.
These leads look and feel well made and, for me, they have provided a marked improvement in digital picture quality, and have noticeably reduced signal interference from other devices.
A slight concern is that the connecters don't feel quite tight enough when you plug them into a device and I have discovered that, while they work well with plug-in signal boosters, they don't get on at all well with coaxial (Y or T) splitters, or female-to-female coaxial couplers, even gold-plated ones. At the time of writing however, Amazon also sell identical leads with male to female (plug to socket) connecters which, depending on your set up, could be used to avoid such problems.
I would recommend these leads on the basis of price and quality, but do bear in mind that they may not be appropriate for all audiovisual applications because of the above reasons.
Good affordable upgrade for your Freeview STB?.......2006-06-09
My freeview set-top-box has suffered occasionally from a poor signal, especially during certain weather conditions, which causes the picture and audio to break-up. I suspected I may be getting interference from other devices so decided to give this better-shielded cable a try. On the worst affected channels signal strength was previously rated at around 35% and signal quality at about 50% - swapping out the (cheap basic) coaxial cable I had for this one has increased the signal strength by about 10% and has bumped the signal quality to 100% - and completely cured the break-up problem. If you're having similar issues, this might be worth a try especially since it's significantly cheaper than some of the quality cables available.
