At first I thought, a remote's a remote. But then one day my brother brought this home and it changed the way we lived our lives.
The buttons press magnificently, with great ease and precision. It will work at many angles to the IR port of your choice, for example, 27.5 or 43.2.
No longer do I get cramps from having to get up to change the channel. It has relieved a lot of stress from my life and I am a happier and more fulfilled person as a result.

Essential for Airport Express owners!.......2006-12-08
When I originally heard about the Airbase from Griffin, I must confess I was very cynical. The idea of the Airport Express plugging straight into the wall sounded like a great clutter-free design. I also saw the Airport Express as a piece of hardware you'd want to plug in and forget about. So I couldn't for the life of me understand why you'd want it on display!
Then I bought an Airport Express.
The truth is that most of the time, where your plug socket is located isn't a great place for wireless network reception. I had numerous drop-outs in audio and I was getting ready to ditch my Airport Express. But then I got a power line extension, plugged the Airport Express into that and elevated it to roughly table-height. All the drop-outs disappeared and the Airport Express works flawlessly. Obviously, the Airbase is cosmetically superior to an extension cable, which is why I bought one!
My only slight quibble about the product is that the supplied power cable was white, which would make it stand out as much as the unit. Black might have been more subtle.
I do, however, have a big quibble with Amazon UK!! They sent me the US version of the product - complete with US power cable! Luckily I had a compatible British cable (which was black, too) so I'm using that and it's all fine.
