Superb case with no design flaws.......2004-09-05

I bought this case along wuth my V1 camera from amazon. Looking back it was probably the most sensible buy I have made for the camera. The material feels great, very solid and well made. Inside the soft padding couldnt be better. There is an extra padded bit at the should which makes for comfortable carrying. The camera is nice and snug in the case, contrary to other reviews the camera is supposed to be tight in the case, so it doesnt move around. There IS in fact room for a wrist strap.

No need for a leather case, this does the job brilliantly

A good compact case for your DSC V1, although it has to be said there are a few things lacking in the design process:

- the case is actually a tight fit for the V1, and there's no room for the wrist strap on the camera once it's inside !

- the belt loop is secured with a snap-fastener that all too easily comes adrift, leaving the case & camera dangling from your belt !

- the side mesh pockets are allegedly for spare batteries, although even Houdini would be hard pushed to squeeze them in once the camera is inside the case !!

Still, a worthwhile purchase for the price, given the only other branded alternative being Sony's leather case.
