Great Sound... But... Nano!!.......2006-11-13

I have one of these, the sound is awesome, its hard to believe the quality from such small speakers...
But .. I Pod Nano, The docking adaptor does not fit correctly, The Nano is too tight and you need to force it in. For the Nano you have to use the IPod Mini adaptor otherwise it feels like you may break your Ipod!

Shame really, cos its is a nice bit of kit.

This is a great unit for the right environment, if you have the need for sound in a kitchen, bedroom etc. then this is ideal. It is small discrete and sounds great. Those buying it to use it at a house party then you will be disappointed.

Nasty tinny sound........2006-04-21

My wife bought me this for me as a birthday present shortly after I got the 20Gb Ipod. We were so disappointed - the sound produced was tinny and shrill, with no means of controlling the balance. Passed it on to my daughter to use with her Ipod mini after a couple of days - she seems happy enough playing the latest chart releases.

Small speakers with a big sound.......2006-03-03

We just got one of these for our bedroom. We needed speakers that were powerfull enough to fill the room but were compact enough to sit on a chest of drawers. The JBL On-Stage fitted the bill perfectly. Truely impressive sound from such a small speaker set, easy to use and good looking too. You won't be dissapointed.

I got the JBL speakers to play my I-pod mini on and they are BRILLIANT. My dad knows a lot about acoustics etc so we tried numerous different ones. The first one we bought was cheaper however when we got back and tried it out I was very disappointed to find that it made a kind of crackly buzzing noise even turned down very low. But the JBL is amazing: the sound quality is great, even for me and I know nothing about sound but i can tell this is good - it was really easy for me to set up and get to work (although make sure you push your I-pod in hard enough! Maybe it's just me..)It's SO easy to use and a great addition to your I-Pod. It's not the cheapest one out there but it does seem to be very very good in comparison.
