    I bought this drive just over a year ago to occasionally backup my hard drive, to prevent me from having to use CDs,and it hasn't worked properly, ever. To start with, any computer I tried it on had problems recognising it as an external hard drive, but after plugging the thing in and out a couple of times, it eventually recognised it. I had to do this every time. Now, a year or so on, the drive doesn't even spin up anymore and is of course... not recognised at all anymore. The one button backup, which I didn't intend to use anyway, never, ever worked. Support by Freecom is not there for this and the previous problem. I will never buy any Freecom device again. Be warned...
