hi i just got y router today and it was up and runing in about 20 mins. the main reason i got it is for my ps3 to go online and its done the job perfect. setup is easy just follow the cd info and your set up in no time.
difficult to install.......2008-01-10
we found it impossible to install. evenutally had to pay someone to do it for us. you also need another ethernet cable which the instructions do not tell you to have. very misleading. once working it works great. it should say either on box or in the instructions that you need 2 ethernet cables. netgear themselves tried there best to help us but in the end had to pay to get it installed.

Very easy to set up to Virgin cable modem using Wizard. Took me about 5 mins with no hassle. Three tips
1. Get details of router version which can be found on underside of routee ( default username and password can also be found there.
2 Print out cabling setup instructiond from CD as you have to switch off compputer and modem before connecting everything up.
3. Go onto netgear website to check for latest firmware and check security setup.

I ordered this from Amazon using express delivery and got it around 12 hours later. Very easy to set up, including security (WPA-PSK [TKIP]). I've had no problems connecting both a Vista and an XP PC.
Wireless range isn't a big issue for me as I have quite a small flat. However, I did notice that some random stranger in another flat had managed to connect prior to me enabling security so it can't be that bad!
100% happy with this purchase.
