I bought these two adapters to replace the 54Mb 11g wireless connection between my main PC and Wireless Access Point/Router etc.
As in some of other reviews of similar devices sold here, you plug them in, and turn them on! It really was that simple. After struggling sometimes with Wireless Encryption keys going missing without warning, and interference on the airwaves, this worked like a dream. I don't know how good/complex my houshold wiring is but I get a solid connection every time. The throughput is nowhere near the published 85Mb, but I wasn't expecting it to be. I reckon I get a consistant 20Mb+ throughput.
Excellent product, at a very keen price. Recommended. Fast (very) shipping from the seller too..

Absolutely brilliant remote.......2007-10-03

I have owned several URCs in my time and this has to be the best of the hard-button remotes available. I have tried LCD touchscreen types but the problem is that you just don't get enough on screen, whereas this has 44 hard buttons as well as a navigator.

With the ability to control any combination of 12 items it surely has to be the one remote to rule them all. Plus, if your item is not in the extensive list included in the box you can phone the manufacturers and they will send a modem signal direct to it to add any codes you want. These codes then appear as yet another 4-digit setup key. If that is not enough, the URC-7780 will learn signals from an existing remote.

Don't confuse this with the cheaper items you see in stores, this is a far more sophisticated bit of hardware than the 6-in-1 variety.

A must-have to avoid that clutter!
