For your notebook/laptop this mouse is the perfect size, without tying yourself in wires. However watch out for the self ejection button on top.
This button releases the back for the batteries and is very sensitive. Touching it with your palm during useage or closing the lid of your carrying case on it, could send the back end flying and your batteries scattered. This is quite amussing the first few times, but then annoys.
A piece of black electrical tape soon sorts out this fault.

Many modern graphics cards feature both DVI-I (digital and analogue) and VGA (analogue) connectors. This cable is useful when you want to connect two VGA monitors to a computer equipped with one of these cards - simply connect the first monitor to the VGA port and the second, using this cable, to the DVI port!
Please note: The DVI-A connector used in this cable mates to the analogue pins incorporated in the DVI-I interface to send the analogue signal to the VGA input of your monitor. It does not convert DVI digital signals to VGA analogue!
