I bought this mouse a while ago (simply because i needed a mouse)and everything works fine, in answer to some of the more negative reviews, this mouse can be affected by metallic objects like metal boards and that can interupt the laser. Personally, i am very satisfied with this mouse although, I might add that some of the parts inside the mouse aren't very strong.(so its more of a mouse for general use than an actual gaming mouse)
bad mouse.......2007-12-16
For the first few days I was very happy with it - low price, very comfortable, except the hard ot push middle mous button.
Than problems started. It first apeared in gaming, than at every operation that requires most of your CPU power (I'm currently using Intel Core 2 Duo 2300)
At the moments of grate CPU usage, the mouse stops working, brakes, cuts off - works one second, stops for one second, than works for a second again.
Since there is no drivers update page, nor any serious customer service, I do not recommend this mouse.

... to pull out when you really need that extra control. Easy to set up, worked perfectly, plug and play on our Windows Vista laptop.
Only word of advice I would give is to be careful if the USB port is located on the back of your laptop if you pick it up from the front you could damage the port by bending the plug as you lean it back against the desk. Luckily we haven't done this, but it is something we noticed is possible.

Although I saw the above negative review, I decided to buy this mouse based on other positive feedback. And I did well.
The installation was dead easy, requiring no drivers and it started to work immediately on XP. I've been trying this mouse for a couple of weeks and since then it never stopped working.
The mouse is somehow big, especially if you were used to a laptop mouse, but its side buttons for "browser back and forward" are just handy! And it even works with Firefox!
In conclusion, if you can't afford a £[...] / £[...] wireless mouse, this is the perfect choice!

If you read the review above this you would think that this is the worst product ever...fortunately i didnt read his advice prior to buying the mouse. I recieved the mouse a while ago and have been very pleased with it. It's easy to use...is a standard design and has good functionality with a forward and back button on either side of the two standard buttons with the scroll wheel in the middle. All in all its a very functional mouse.
This mouse really is worth the money...its quite a bit cheaper than the microsoft ones...which i have had one of previously...and it does everything that they can.
