I will not elaborate on the reviews already on here about the performance of this card because I do not play many games. My reason for purchase was that I have a Dell Dimension 3000 which has neither an AGP or PCI-E slot and I wanted to run Vista's Aero interface. This card solved the problem.
Vista picked it up without the need to install anything from the CD and it works perfectly.
If you only have PCI slots available and want to run Aero I would recommend this card, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

I bought this card as i have a Dell Dimension 2350 (P4 2Ghz). Runs games such as the Sims 2 no bother (although it is slightly jerky with all options set to high, but nothing major). I had previously purchased the 128mb card, which isnt a match on this, it may be more expernsive but i think it is worh the extra money i.m.o. Great budget buy, especially if you are a Dell owner
with no AGP socket!!

When i purchased my Dell Computer i didn't realise it only had a spare PCI slot, it took my ages to find a suitable graphics card that would work well with Counter Strike: Source, and it does, very well, but dont expect it to play any of the latest games such as Prey or FEAR or any really graphically demanding games. However it does play your average game very well indeed and it did Save my Dell PC from going out the window. But now myabe you should be thinking of doing what i'm doing, get a new computer with a PCI-Express x16 Graphics card slot and go out and spend £120 on a top notch graphics card. It will be a wise investment indeed.

Like some of the other people here I bought a Dell PC then upon realising the graphics weren't up to much, bought a PCI - Express graphics card and opened the computer only to find there wasn't a slot. And like those above I had to return it and look for a PCI card.
I bought this card so I could utilise the DVI input on my monitor, output to TV and hopefully make media centre more stable. Now as I type this I have media centre playing music with full visualisation on my tv and I can work on the PC no problems. There has been a considerable improvement in performance from what wasn't a sluggish system to begin with. P4 3.2 with 2 gig of ram. If you've bought a cheaper dell PC that only has PCI slots then this card is your systems saving grace. Highly recommended.
