I do not have this card; I have the Zotac version. But these cards are all the same. The companies buy the cards from Nvidia and stick a label on them.

Hot card? Using the Nvidia utility which comes with the card's Nvidia drivers, you can increase the fan's speed. These fans come set at about 29% of full rotational speed and only increase the fan speed when the card gets to 100C!! The 65nm process for the GPU allows this. You need 60% or more for a cool card and maybe more if you overclock it. There are other utilities available to programme the fan for specific temperature ranges - do a search on Riva. On a 60% fan I get 700/1800/2000

Whichever company you buy this card from it really is a bargain. As fast as an 8800GTX for half the price! Great stuff! With the recent release of so many graphically rich excellent games like Bioshock, Crysis, UT III, etc a card like this is a must to enjoy their graphic glory! Also, with an Nvidia SLI motherboard you can run two of them!

I heard about the quality of the chipset of the 8800GT, and while browsing Amazon randomly, stock suddenly turned up: without further research about the Inno3D version I ordered it. Good move!

Excellent card, its about 20cm long, I didn't have to move any HDD since I got a spacy ATX casing. Game was includied, so was a Molex-to-6-Pin connector (which you need if your power supply doesnt have a dedicated 6Pin connector). Installed, booted up, installed drivers...done!

Great performance, BUT it does get HOT. And I mean quite hot: in my case 58C idle, into the 70-80C after a good gaming session. I do recommend adding a dedicated GPU fan. They are easy to install and deliver great results.

I replaced an X850XT with this and the GT is head and shoulders above it.
Like the previous review I had to move a sata drive out of the way but it
is a single slot card. Requires an additional power connector.
Crysis detects my system at medium but it will run high at lower resolutions.
Comes with a free game "tomb raider anniversary" for nowt.
Highly recommended if you can find one, and they are very rare atm.

Fantastic Graphics Card.......2007-12-03

I bought this graphics card to replace my 6600 GT and was very easy to fit (dont forget to connect the extra power lead which comes supplied) and took about 15 minutes. Installed the drivers and went straight to Crysis and set the graphics to high and wow was I impressed. You also get a free game Tomb Raider anniversary addition and the usual excellent service from Amazon with speed of delivery and packaging. Get one of these cards now you wont be disappointed!!
