Targus hope to make the slow and painful data entry on the Handspring PDA a thing of the past with their Stowaway Portable Keyboard for the Handspring Visor. In the past, people choosing handhelds have always had the dilemma of size over input capability. If you go for compact size, then you will not have a keyboard to input your data, if you go for input via a keyboard in the past this has meant you are left with choosing something from the Psion range which gives you the ability to input data at lightning speed, but you will have to put up with a slightly bigger device. Luckily, for the people with a Handspring who originally chose size, Targus have created a full sized Portable Keyboard.
Based on a full size keyboard with additional shortcut keys, the device neatly folds into four sections into its own protective case the same size as a Handspring Visor. This as you can imagine makes it perfect for storage and travel. What's more, because the keyboard has a docking station built in, there is no need for any cables to connect the two. Installation is simple and straightforward - you'll have to add a small driver to the device, then simply clip your handspring into the extended keyboard.
In reality, what this means is that combined with a Handspring modem, the need for the laptop on business trips is almost removed. For anyone inputting data, sending e-mails or merely writing notes, this turns the Handspring into an invaluable commodity and something that can easily be hidden in your pocket to impress your friends or colleagues at a moments notice. --Jason Denwood

An inovitive piece of kit.......2001-12-29
This little device is well worth the investment if you intend to do any major data entry into your palm.
Its small size (only slightly bigger than my Visor Delux) makes it easy to transport and except turning the palm off you can do verchally everything with the keyboard.
A lovely peice of kit that will help anyone that uses the Visor for data entry on a larger scale.
A Top Line Piece of Kit.......2001-10-19
Ok, so you've got your Handspring and it's become essential to your life - handy, light and useful. So why do you need a laptop? Well, you don't with the Targus Keyboard - it really is a full size keyboard and lets you get on with working on large files without dealing with graffiti (and lets face it, graffiti is too cumbersome for large docs).
Spot on, worth every penny and folds up to a tiny size.

Definitly THE portable keyboard to own.......2001-08-16
I can't help feel that one day, from a design perspective this keyboard will feature as an exhibit in the Design icon Halls of fame. It is worth buying for this reason alone. It's a very clever design, well constructed and robust (when closed). However, I am a little nervous of its sturdiness when open. A little care and a good solid flat surface (as recommended) are required when in use.
As a functional tool for use with the Handspring Visor it is to me an essential accessory. It did seem a little on the expensive side initially, but if, like me, you use Email a lot and enjoy competency in both graffiti (the Palm OS handwriting format) and conventional keyboard skills, I have found the ability to type faster of real value. For this reason the 'highish' price is worth it.
One minor criticism is that when I use it in public (e.g. on a Train), people sitting nearby cannot resist the urge to engage in conversation. It proves to be an irresistable conversation piece (Fine and dandy, providing you don't happen to want a little peace and quiet for a change!). Be warned.
That aside - Buy one! One day it may be worth considerably more than it is now. Think back to the Sinclair ZX Spectrum! What are they currently worth???
Snazzy Foldway Keyboard.......2001-08-01
If you can touch-type, you need one of these. The itsy-bitsy built-in keyboards of other PDAs don't compare. And people love to fold it, unfold it and admire the cleverness of the engineering.

Take care with this motherboard.......2007-07-29
This is an ok motherboard but not for people that want to overclock.
There are no real options to overclock, no voltage settings so no option to run RAM that needs more than the standard DDR2 1.8volts. So take care when ordering your ram for this Mobo. and only order standard RAM that runs at 1.8volts
Other than that it does what it says on the box and support for intel chipsets is always good in operating systems e.g. linux and vista.
