problem after extended use with Canon Ixus ??. .......2007-10-18
I thought I'd add this review, having noticed a couple of other customers with similar problems. I've used this card with my Canon Ixus 500 since July 2004 with no problem, but last week it failed and is no longer recognised by either the camera or the PC. Worth noting that it completely screwed the camera operations, and at first I thought the camera was at fault. Inserting a new CF card fixed everything though. Don't know if this is a problem particular to Ixus, but it's interesting that others are experiencing the same thing..
No complaints really, as it's been in in constant use and stored thousands of images over the years, but I did lose a complete holiday's worth of incredibly interesting pictures of the sea and other bits of Corfu.

I've used two of these 1gb cards now for about a year - i've taken over 10'000 photos and not once have i had a single problem with either of my cards. They're fantastic little things, nice and fast, and i can trust em with anything i shoot.

I've had this memory card as long as I've had my Fuji s7000, so about 18 months? I felt I needed to post a review as a lot of the reviews for it were people who found the card to be unreliable..
In that time it hasn't failed me once..I am quick to transfer data to my pc as I do have a phobia of losing it but so far I have had no problems at all, no lost pictures, nothing.
I can honestly say if it wasn't for the fact it's too small for my needs now, that I'd buy exactly the same again. I will be keeping this card and buying a 1gb card from bytestor to enhance my storage.
I have no hesitation in giving this product 5 stars. Mine was a bargain compared to other brands at the time so I didn't expect much, but it's done all I could ask it to :)
Product failure within two years.......2006-08-22
BEWARE. I purchased two of these memory cards in late 2004. Both of them have failed within the last three monts. They have been used in Canon Ixus 430 and Canon Ixus 500 cameras.
3 years of service then failure.......2006-07-31
Card worked fine for 3 years and then failed. It failed with a memory card error on our Ixus but the small memory card that came with the camera was fine.
