Stick With The Canon Originals But Dont Get Ripped Off On P&P.......2007-12-28
I have tried compatible cartridges on my Canon pixma IP4300 and I can't be bothered with having to swap the chips off the original Canon cartridges and then clipping it on to the compatible, just to find the the bloody thing won't work. Stick to the Canon original cartridges for a stress free life of printing. Some people on Amazon have also had the same problem as myself when it comes to companies offering a really cheap price on the net, but when it comes to the delivery charges (£4.50) WHAT!!!!!, really you and I know that a ink cartridge can be sent though the post for about £1.00. Do these companies really think that they can reel us in with what looks like a really cheap price for a cartridge that cost £4 - £5 less than on the high street and then make a huge profit on a unrealistic delivery charge. I have found a company called advantage online who sell a original Canon CLI-8 black cartridge for £9.49 and a full set of the CLI-8 cartridges for £34.98, which is a good price, but the best bit is that they don't charge delivery and its all sent first class royal mail. I have used them now on three different occasions have have been more that happy with their service.
STILL THE CHEAPEST I'VE FOUND!.......2007-11-01
Ok, so these guys charge over £4 PER ITEM for postage, but even with this taken into account they are STILL the cheapest GENUINE cartridges I have found, and boy have I searched! Also nice fast delivery. Plenty of cheaper copies, if you want your printer to block up and break then risk a non genuine cartridge.

As noted by other reviews don't be fooled by the apparently low price - the shipping costs more than double the final price. Shop elsewhere for these consumables - you will find them cheaper.
Delivery is shocking.......2007-09-10
This looked like a great price until I went through check out and got the final price plus delivery. It was going to cost me £26 to buy this and get it sent to Northern Ireland. Absolutely ridiculous.
Canon needs your money !.......2007-03-26
The printer I bought this for is great (pixma IP5200), but these inks run out way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too quickly ! I am replacing them at a rate at least 2 to 3 times as often as with my previous HP printer, plus these inks (considering that delivery is attached to supplement the price) are very expensive.
