It is cheap when you buy from amazon.Photo prints are very good.But i find the Epson RX425 doesnt provide the same quality of prints (text) compared with HP/canon

I always use manufacturer's original ink so I am particularly pleased with this pack because it saves quite a bit on individual cartridges and you get the photo paper free as well.
I have no hesitation in recommending this item for the Epsom Stylus Photo RX420 all-in-one printer as the results are excellent. Friends are surprised by the high quality of photo prints I get, often thinking they have been done in a high street lab.

This is a very good price without 100 sheets of top quality paper. If you do not need the paper it can easily be sold, making it even more of a bargain. The ink cartridges are top quality, I would not think twice about compatible cartridges at this price.

Buggy.......2008-01-12

The software is very buggy, and gets worse if you do not properly eject the stick. It is also very slow at times - a relatively powerful PC is needed too for watching and recording.
The supplied aerial is only good for places with very good reception; those that don't will have to get a separate one or a metal coat hanger.
When it works, it's fine - quality is good and the EPG is bearable. The extra '1Gb' (really about 700MB) is pretty worthless considering the fuss that's needed every time to eject it.
Not really worth £50. Disappointed.

Does what it says - but sluggish when reception is weak.......2007-08-26

I held off buying one of these because I had read that software on similar items had slowed down people's systems. But with this one, the software lives on the Flash stick, which makes for a more flexible arrangement.

I bought this primarily so that we could have our own TV when on holiday with my in-laws in Italy, but I've used it here in the UK too. Set-up is very easy, the interface is quite intuitive and the picture quality not bad for stations where there is decent digital reception. The antenna bundled with the stick gives OK reception of the stronger channels, but for the UK I found that I needed a better aerial, and ended up forking out an extra £10 for one that incorporated a signal booster.

After plugging this into the flash stick, I discovered that the main problem that I'd had initially - very slow switching between channels - disappeared. Without the boosted signal, changing to a channel with a weak system essentially hung the software, and only by shutting it down in task manager could I regain control of the PC.

I've not tested the PVR function yet, but I am reasonably happy with the purchase.
