Purchased from Argos recently to replace my existing BT Synergy 600 (4 handsets that have all now failed (died))

Bt, british telecom are well known for their high standards in the telephone and broadband industry. I was very happy with my old bt phone, it had all the features one could ask for CALLER DISPLAY, cordless, extensive phone book, secrecy, last call and redial buttons along with 'int' - intercom to communicate from one handset to the other - used to transfer calls as well.

- the twin set cost me £35 and the single would've cost £19 from Argos.
I did some hunting around and found the Bt Freestyle 3200 was the same price (£35) in currys. The reason i didnt get this newer model is because its design is hideous compared to the sleek, slim and overall attractive appearance of the large keys Bt Studio handsets.

The Bt Studio 1100 can have a range of 300m outdoors! and stores 30 numbers in its phonebook. (has 100 hour standby time and 10 hour calltime life) you can also assign a ringtone to each member of your phone book! These are its main great features along with call display:
I am with BT as a phone company and for an extra 50p to the bill I get caller ID so now i see the number on the phone when it rings, and if the contact is saved in my phonebook i will see their name when they ring.

Disadvantages of the phone is that it only has 3 melodies, only 1 of which are decent (melody2)
The phone doesnt have its own answerphone but this is minor as BT provide one (accessed by call 150)

The phone is great and does actually support its 'digital clarity' claim and is 'DECT certified' (Digital European Cordless Telecommunications. European standard for digital cordless connection to the telecommunications network.)

So overall the phone is excellent and serves its purpose, its cheap and has all you could want. The cradle of the phone is smaller than it looks, takes 1 sec to connect up. Possible disadvantage with the cradle is it makes the phone sleep almost (not stand) and if kept in a high place caller id cannot be read!)
