I was sceptical after reading the reviews but this fits my model perfectly.
My model was bought early 2006 and is the older black version. This mount must not fit the newer models so don't buy it if you have the newer model TOM TOM One.

Clearly this mount is not suitable for the TomTome ONE being sold at present. Amazon, get your act together and stop misrepresenting this product.

Although this was ordered on the basis that it was featured by Amazon as 'perfect partner' to TomTom One Europe - it does not fit... I have done some research and it looks as though this particular mount is only for 'Edition One' of TomTom One Europe - presumably the latest editions of TomTom One Europe are not Edition One. This may be why one of the previous reviewers of this item says that it fits perfectly? Perhaps they have a first edition TomTom One? Obviously I rate this item as 0 as I had to return it - but of course, the Amazon delivery etc. was excellent as usual, just a shame they are misrepresenting this item on their website by selling at a 'perfect partner' to something that it does not fit!

When my windscreen was replaced due to a stonechip in the drivers zone, autoglass broke my mount. Due to previous feedback and overall rating of this product, I was sceptical when ordering. When it arrived it fitted perfectly as I have an all black TomTom One; I suspect if you have a grey/silver trimmed TomTom one, this mount doesn't fit, so beware

Sliding Bracket That Doesn't Slide.......2007-05-19

All is fine with the product until you try to fix your Tom Tom into the bracket that is screwed independently into the end of the mount, the space between the sliding arms is far too small. No amount of pushing will get them to marry up and it is clearly visible that they will not. This is the second one I have tried and they are exactly the same. I have studied your picture of the mount and the bracket shown IS different to the one/two I have received. Please look into this matter as I believe either you are selling faulty equipment or I have a rogue Tom Tom. Thank you.
