The camera was "DELIVERED" to my door and left there on the ground for anyone to steal, my neighbour saw it lying there and took it in but they did not knock her door.I am very dissapointed with this service.
The camera on the other hand is great and easy to use,would recommend it but not the delivery.

I got the item delievered to my address before the estimated delivery date. I was very happy to see my camera. But what followed was not I expected. The batter & the charger kit was a faulty one. It was not charging at all. I returned the item and got the money back (with the postage charge). This is my experience though. Thanks, VeePee
Sony what ?? .......2007-11-16
I was very happy with the purchase - the camera is light, very easy to use and perfect for my situation. Ideal for students/backpackers and the facilities on offer. As mentioned above, deleting pics can be a pain (as this can only be done individually). I already had several memory cards so it was very much a plus they were compatible. Good purchase (first time I am ever purchasing a digital camera). I have to admit when I first saw it the camera looked like a toy and the appearance didn't look fantastic. The camera is cool though. Hope this helps.
Be warned about reliability.......2007-11-09
Whilst the camera took good shots while I had it - I had to return it for repair after 18 days and almost three weeks later I still don't have it back. I would add that I didn't buy it from Amazon but a high street retailer. I bought this camera to replace my previous Cybershot which stopped working after 18 month's service. A friend of mine has had a similar experience with his Sony Cybershot.
It may be that I am unlucky, or maybe budget cameras are so cheap these days that they are no supposed to last.

This is a great pocket camera for the price - very fast start-up, excellent picture quality, really easy and intuitive to use.
However - it has been designed by technicians who clearly don't have everyday use in mind - for example.......
1. Does not come with a case - how much would a thin piece of vinyl cost?
2. You must use the Sony battery pack - and these retail for around £25
3. The battery pack has to be charged with the mains charger - it does not charge when connected through the USB port - so if you are out and about taking pictures and your battery runs flat, you cannot just drop in some AA's - you'll need to buy and charge and have with you a spare battery pack
4. You must use a Sony memory stick to extend the memory - these are more expensive than the freely available SD cards
5. When you transfer your pictures to the computer with the supplied USB cable - you cannot delete them from the camera via the computer - the internal camera memory is read-only and cannot be changed - so you have to unplug the camera and manually delete each picture on the camera or format the memory.
Like I said, a great camera, but built by technicians!
