I will try to review this camera as a simple user and not as an expert.
First, the look/design of the camera is impressive.
The camera support was made such a way so can be easily attached on the top of a TFT screen. I do not think that it will be very stable on a top of a laptop.
The full software installation takes at least 5 min depending of the PC (my AMD64 took 5 min about).
All indication for installation is clear and at the end is asking you to attach the camera and you are ready to go.
The software they provide is nice and add on as Video Impression is a good thing.
The camera worked nicely with Skype (ver 2.5.0.126) but freezes with Yahoo Messenger BETA (8.0). With the version 7.5 all nice and smooth
Face tracking.
I never owned a motorised camera but I expected to perform better and I do not understand on what it is based the mechanism of the face tracking (centre of the image, pixel analysis etc)
It followed me quite well in the room if I walked but if I move too fast the camera just cannot cope and remain locked to something else (such as my fishing tank at the back of the chair). The movement is a little robotic and not smooth but it does its job to keep you in the frame.
If you are at the desk is a quite nice function. End if are more members of the family in the frame the camera somehow try to keep all in the picture.
The image quality is very good for a webcam. It shows a little barrel distortion but you do not aspect with a tiny lens to have a perfect image.
The bad points:
1) Price that it is very high. On the other and having a 3D motorised camera cost you money.
2) No support for Apple Mac and Linux. It is a pity as in many environments are Apple/ Linux users.
