I compare this with my earlier Logitech.
The Hercules doesn't have zoom facility or the "follow me" feature which allows the displayed image to follow head movements. It doesn't have a microphone. The gimmicky led lighting is completely useless, and means that if you leave the machine switched on overnight as I do, it switches on automatically, giving an eerie backgroud lighting to the bedroom. The metal casing weighs the webcam down so much that it can't remain steadily attached on the edge the display. Finally, the displayed image is poor.
