Very light gradual filter, same colour but lighter tone than standard 121. Recommended for lenses between 36 and 62mm in diameter with a focal length over 35mm. Cokin square filters fit into a holder and are attached to a lens via an adapter ring, the photographer has a number of immediate advantages. ND filters are among those tools which have become indispensable in today s digital technology. They offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results as they are the real sunglasses for your camera. Typically, ND filters are used when shooting in bright light such as strong sunshine, snowy mountains or on white beaches. ND s filter the entire visible spectrum evenly, allowing light reduction - reducing the amount of light reaching the CCD, film or tape, without altering the relative spectral distribution of the energy, thus without influence on colour temperature, colour balance or contrast. For this reason they are often referred to as neutral or grey filters.

I am going through the tedious process of backing up all my old film onto DVD to preserve it for the future, I wanted a thin, simple cover for my discs, these are spot on, I cant say more than that, they are simple, clean, neat and do exactly what they need to do.

Badly Crafted Disc Holding Stub / Latch.......2007-03-14

I got 2 packs of these slim cases and wouldn't recommend them only because of the disc holding stub. There is a sort of latch on the stub that clicks around the centre hole in the disc but is not very well crafted, the disc is very loose and doesn't keep the disc from falling about inside - once the case is opened the disc falls out (Not to good for the disc). All other aspects seem to be good; case closes reasonably well and also seems to have good strength.
