I am finding this extremely difficult to setup. I have just been to the netgear site and found the only entry in their service page of this product is, that it has been discontinued.

Excellent VOIP adapter, extremely easy to set up.......2007-01-08

I am new to VOIP and was not sure i'd be able to set-up a VOIP router. However, setting this up took all of 2mins.

Set-up was easy, almost automatic and within minutes i was able to make calls. Sipgate registration is necessary but they do provide you with your own landline number which is great.

The unit comes with 555 free minutes to UK landlines (once registered with sipgate). If you need to use the unit with other providers then it needs to be unlocked but this is easily done via the sipgate website.

Once unlocked you can use any provider you like. BUT once ulocked, sipgate no longer provide support
There are 2 telephone ports on the rear, so the best thing about using VOIP with an adapter like this is that you can make VOIP calls using broadband connection without having the computer switched on.
