Excellent transfer.......2007-06-24

Contrary to the previous review, I have Windows XP and Windows 98 and the product has worked as soon as it was plugged in. I've had no problems using it and the audio transferred is crystal clear.

Compatability Issues.......2004-04-28

This item does not work with Windows XP.
I tried searching for driversbut to no avail.
Avoid unless you have Windows 98 SE or 2000 ormillennium.

Very Easy To Use, Excellent Quality Prints.......2004-11-19

For those afraid of- or simply not computer friendly, your troubles are over !
It is Very Very easy to set this printer up, and produce stunning prints with NO computer necessary.
Take it out of the box.Plug in the lead to the little black extension boxed, and then the extension box plugs to the back of the printer. Pull down the side door- load the ink cartridge ( with the Kodak label facing you, and the arrow pointing inwards). Slide the cover off the paper tray down( don't worry you won't break it) and then tilt up the clear top to enable you to fill it with Kodak paper. **please note, the instructions tell you to place the paper glossy side down-This caused it to print on the back.Place glossy side up ****
Switch printer on at mains.
It is best to switch the camera to best mode (3:2) via the menu button, to achieve the best capable prints
Place the camera onto the top of the printer( doesn't even need to be switch on, the camera that is !)
Then the printer automatically switches the camera on and shows you on the LCD the photos you have taken.Press the < or > to move through the photos and press print when you get to the one you want( or all). You can even state how many copies of each photo you'd like.Would be an excellent idea to stock up on, or at least get ahead of yourself with a kodak media pack ( 40 sheets of paper and an ink cartridge).
The quality of print is superb.You need to gently bend back, and pull off the side bits not used on the paper.Even this is made easy with it being already scored.

Unable to get working.......2005-09-19

As I own other faultless items of D-link equipment I have been very dissapointed as I could not get my unit to work. I spent time on the phone to a very helpfull support line but still no good and a replacement was ordered. Sad to report that does not work either and I even took it to a local computer shop to make sure it was not my fault. I am now waiting a reply from D-Link to see if I can replace with an upgraded version and get my printer networked
