I bought this to allow secure VPN connections to my main office network whilst working from home.

Setup was straightforward and I upgraded the firmware on installation to the latest (v2.02 with 168bit AES encryption) from 3Com.

Plugged into our standard ADSL modem/router, it operates reliably and allows connection to the network from my laptop using just the standard Windows XP VPN client (no additional costly client software required). A number of office PC's also run behind it's firewall and we've had no security problems so far.

It costs slightly more than some other VPN firewall products, but again it requires no additional client software or licenses to be purchased so is actually good value.
