Just got this card for use on my wifes Apple Powerbook laptop. It's an old machine (2000 or so) with only a G3 processor and running OSX Panther 10.3.5. But this card just plugged in (don't bother with the enclosed CD-rom), adjusted my network settings, used airport assistant (2 clicks) and I was away.
It will affect battery performance, but not unreasonably. I can't comment on it's capabilities for PC users, but just for the Mac-heads out there - It will work with Panther. Success
