Small print on the box says "Ultra speed CD-RW media can only be recorded and rewritten on CD-RW Recorders showing the Ultra Speed CD-RW logo".
Given it 3 stars because it's quite possibly fine in the right recorder but it was a complete waste of money for me.
Memorex CDrws.......2006-01-14
I just bought some Memorex CDrws (admittedly not this particular variety). They won't copy anything and they practically crashed two computers! And yes I successfully used another make. Maybe just a faulty batch but I'd steer clear just in case. All this rw/r stuff all seems like a bit of a waste of time and much too complicated for us non-computer-nerds- bring back floppy disks!!

Perfect!! Super fast writing/rewriting capabilty. There are TWO boxes of 5 discs in the pack which is pretty cool [for storage/oraganisation] Absolutely no problems at all with these discs! They have proper high quality transparent jewel cases, too! Really excellent, and at less than £7, a bargain!
I have no hesitation at all in recommending these cd-rw's!

Great Board At A Great Price.......2007-05-30
I bought this board while browsing in a local electronics store I was searching everywhere over the net for a Socket 939 board. I recently sold my AMD Athlon 2500+ Sk A set-up in December and decided to upgrade to Athlon 64 I had my old system for about 3 years so I felt it was time. I decided to go 939 as after a few months research AMD's new socket AM2 which basically upgraded the line to use DDR2 memory didn't even give AMD 64 chips the performance everyone thought it would do.
Even thou AM2 was designed with DDR2 memory in mind reviews I read said a 5% gain which to me is not worth (at the time) shelling out loads for DDR2 memory. The board is great it has some great features like support on AMD Athlon/FX/Dual Core CPU's (Dual Core needs a BIOS update), up to 4GB of DDR memory, PCI-E X16 port, 3x PCI ports, 2x PCI-E x1 ports, 4x SATA150 ports & Giga Ethernet.
Installation was a doddle no problems apart from the cheap memory at the time I was using 2x 256MB PC2700 DDR Elixar brand would cause the PC to restart when installing Windows XP Pro a Blue Screen of Death would pop up this was because the board didn't like the chips installed in Slot 1 & 2. Once I moved it to slot 3 & 4 it was alright but did occasionally cause lock-ups during XP, the board even comes with its own Northbridge cooler it's not copper based but at least it will keep it cool if you're using the onboard 6 channel audio. Which may I say it fantastic I think it sounds miles better than what my old nForce2 Ultra used to put out and that was an Ultra chipset.
There aren't any differences in the standard nForce4 Vs. Ultra chipset just that the Ultra support SATAII, 7.1 sound & SLI graphics. Anyways to add to my new product I bought a AMD 64 4000+ 2.4ghz CPU, Geil 2GB PC3200 DDR memory, Maxtor Diamond Max 250GB SATA HDD, GeForce 8600GT 256Mb PCI-E card, ASUS SATA DVD-ROM and SATA DVD-RW.
And it runs fantastic I've loving everything about this PC I am glad I upgraded let no-one put you off Sk939. People like me would like to save money and don't always need the latest, greatest hardware. I saved a lot on this set-up if you're planning on building a new AMD system and are moving from an old 1 like Socket A then 939 is a good choice. You can pass over your current DDR memory, Hard Drives, DVD-ROM/RW Drives as long as you research and find a decent board then your good to go.
I paid for £40 for this its worth that at least currently Sk939 CPU's like my 4000 are going for £48 that's a bargain.
