This is great value for money. Dont be fooled by the 99p blag as its over £7 with postage, but thats still great value. The buttons are simple, though the responce time once pressed is slow. But with a good read of the instructions and some practice its easy to use. You cant charge your ipod while transmitting but I get a few hours out of it which is enough for me. Sound puritans beware, if you live in a busy city, its gonna be tough getting a good sound in you car, but thats the case no matter what you spend.

Cute, fun and for 99p I cant believe it actually works! Reception is good (so long as you keep your iPod on your knee). If you leave it on the seat next to you the reception fades in and out but otherwise your own body must act like an arial or something and it works great. Ive got one and so have various members of my family with no problems at all. Easy to tune in (even for a technophobe).

i was very happy with this product for about the first two or so weeks, then then the sound quality deteriated and eventually after a month the transmitter stoped working.
it was a cheap and tacky product and i wish i had spent a bit more for a better quality transmitter that would have had a longer life.

Unbelievable value for money; clear as a bell even worked acceptably in an old company work car where the normal FM tuner couldn't get a clear signal for any of the major stations. Wish I had bought two to have saved on postage!

the transmitter came neatly packed with simple, easy to follow instructions for set up,(For a technophobe like me it took 1 minute). In use it gives good clear reception 99.9per cent of the time. The unit needs to be disconnected from the ipod when not needed as it still seems to transmit when the ipod is turned off, (listen to the radio when the ipod is off, it is silent, then disconnect the transmitter and the radio "hisses"). Obviously this has an effect on battery life as the transmitter takes its power from the ipod and if you forget to disconnect it, going back to a flat ipod is a pain. One drawback, there is no way to charge the ipod in the car whilst the transmitter is connected, but unless you are in the car for hours on end that should'nt be a problem.
I can definitely recommend this product.

Bubblegum FM Transmitter.......2007-06-15
Probably the best 8 quid I've spent in a long time - there's a lot of ipod FM transmitters about and you could pay up to £70 if you want to. Very simple to use, pick a frequency at either end of the band and you should be fine. I have'nt had any loss of signal driving around and in the house i can leave the ipod in the next room and still get excellant signal on the stereo. Only drawbacks are that the width and thickness don't match the ipod Nano exactly so it doesn't look perfect, it is also a bit heavy on the battery, but functionally its great.
