Pleasant and Elegant, despite some flaws........2004-05-22

This DVD, as the title specifies, is a series of nine episodes celebrating beautiful women in a diverse assortment of circumstances involving water, oil, champagne etc.

Most of the episodes in this collection are wonderful, especially "Oil and Water", where two ladies and some oil make love on a waterbed, and "Bubbling Over", which involves two very beautiful girls and seemingly endless bottles of champagne.

However if Playboy's mantra is the celebration of beautiful women, one wonders why they insist on including mute, muscle bound men in their productions. There are no men in their centrefold pages, or indeed in their special editions, so why include them in these DVDs? In this collection, "Home Alone" and "School House Rock", both of which are peppered with beautiful moments, are spoiled by the unnecessary presence of men. (Not to mention the disgraceful "Channel Surfing", which doesn't relate in any way to the title or other chapters on this DVD) Also, the cringe-worthy voiceover to these sketches is that of a man's; all neo-American trite and dire puns. Surely the sensual and elegant voice of a woman would be ideal.

Despite these legitimate criticisms (and the corny episode titles and soundtracks) this is a magnificent DVD. The girls in this collection, most of whom are Playboy Playmates, are all beautiful. Special mention must go to the delightful Natalia Sokolova, who is the girl on the cover, and, in particular, to Summer Altice. She conforms to none of Playboy's clichés and is spirited, natural and a joy to watch.

One of the best Playboy DVD.......2003-02-20

Not for hardcore fans, but a pretty pleasant way to spend 50 minutes. There's a couple of lousy chapters ("Channel Surfing" is simply dire) but this is redeemed by the quality in some of the others. The riskiest it gets is "Oil and Water"...which involves baby-oil and two rather stunning ladies.

This vid is very good. There are about 11 different chapters with about 7 very sexy women. The video is based around getting the girls to dance around in water, champagne, ot anything else which is wet. Worth a watch, but some scenes are rather drawn out if not boring

Modestly attractive, especially Skye Ashton.......2005-02-17

A lovely blonde ( Skye Ashton as Penny Quinn ) photographs erotic encounters on 'Cricket Island' and provides a few erotic scenes herself. She opens a vacation resort (the Heartbeat Inn), but her sexy maid Lana and Lana's new boyfriend angle for a piece of the action.

It develops quite slowly, perhaps in an attempt to build an erotic atmosphere, but there is little tension. There is plenty of flesh in the sex scenes.

Most of the ladies are quite lovely, and the acting seems credible, though limited. I just wanted more of a story.

This made me laugh and wince in equal measure. Now some people might buy this film purely for pornographic intent so I should warn you now, you will be dissapointed. This film goes from the laughable to the ridiculous as flat dialogue an pretentious storyline make for an amusing cocktail. If you think watching some guys Scrotum get chopped is a turn on then HEY this is for you. Me? I'd rather boil my limbs.

Very funny and very bizarre - but not sexy........2002-01-12

A great film for it's genre, but if it's titilation you are after - this isn't the film for you. Probably better for watching with your mates when you want a laugh.

There's lots of moments when the action looks promising, and gets a bit sexy - which is swiftly followed by a freaky, vicious or plain bizarre plot twist. There's some stuff in here that can seriously turn you off, moments that are down right nasty - only softened by the characters reactions, who make it comical. (Put it this way - my boyfriend's eyes were watering more than once!!)

Great laugh, but not sexy!
