My daughter owns this on video . It is great family entertainment, and sad in places . Buddy (dog) leaves his nasty owner and finds a loveing teenager who discovers that Buddy can play basketball . Watch the dvd to get the rest of the story . DONT miss it .

This movie is fantastic! A great heart warming story about friendship and courage. Anyone who likes dogs, a good movie, a smile being brought to thier faces, or any of these things then they should DEFINETLY watch this film!

A fun movie aimed squarely at the family........2001-02-14

A feel good movie of the first order, this film has a lot going for it. As it is aimed at a family environment, I watched it with my younger, (11/ 12 now), brother. He went wild - delighting in the antics of the canine star. The courtroom scenes at the end of the film were also a joy to behold - with the classic "loyalty" test for the star buddy givingthe right result - he went to the young boy. A strong performance from the actor, Eric Christmas, playing the leading role of the Judge - and a fiting tribute to his acting career in the family entertainment arena.
