Amazon.co.uk Review
Originally made for American TV, Switching Goals stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as super-identical twins who are actually total opposites. OK, it's not the freshest concept in the universe, but the teen divas (who also exec produce--as they did in their Passport to Paris) are an undeniable favourite with little girls. Here, they're Sam, the athletic one, and Emma, the fashion-conscious one. Their indulgent dad (Eric Lutes) coaches a soccer team and their workaholic mother (Kathryn Greenwood) is a psychologist. Look for a switch, the truth to be revealed, and all to end well. This TV movie should appeal to girls between 4 and 10, especially if any of them are handy on the soccer pitch.--N.F. The twins are GREAT! 2th september 04........2004-09-02
The first ever movie i have ever seen of mary-kate and ashley, and it's great. I am not so mad about mary-kate and ashley like some people, but i have started to collect their films because they are brilliant actors. This is a film about two sisters sam and emma stanton, both have their completely own personality. Where's sam is a soccer football player for a team the buzzards, and emma is more into fashion and going after the boys. Emma feels upset because their father always chooses sam out of the both of them to play in his team against the others. However, emma learns how to be a better football player so the two sisters decide to swap clothes and swap teams. Only telling their father that, they find a way of having each others expressons to switch and get mom to still think they are the same girls with their proper names. Anyway sooner or later, their mom finds out about their little secret and a boy that came along that goes out with emma. But soon enofe, their mom goes as the leader for the hurricanes team and their father is the leader of the buzzards. In the end emma becomes goaly, and it's twin against twin. Absolutely brilliant, especcially for any mary-kate and ashley fans.

switching goals.......2004-03-11
this film is very good you could watch it over and over and never get board especially with Mary-Kate and Ashley in it they were so sweet at that age.It is about two twin girls and football.
A fantastic film.......2002-03-05
Starring as sisters Emma and Sam Stanton, the girls trade secrets, clothes and now... they're trading places!
While tomboy Sam (Mary-Kate) is a star athlete, stylish Emma ( Ashley) prefers the sports of fashion and dating. So, when a football tournament lands them on mis-matched teams, they do some fancy footwork to switch places and outsmart the league.
Clever schemes, hilarious mix-ups and nonstop action are all part of the game.
But when chaos kicks in both on and off the field, Mary-Kate and ashley team up for an all-new adventure!
GOAL!!!.......2001-10-12
I love this film and I would definatly recomend this to any Olsen Fan. Mary-Kate and Ashley are great. The Olsens' are about the same age as they are in Two of a Kind so the acting is very good. I hve already gotthis movie as I ordered it from the USA.
The basic plot is about twins Sam (Mary-Kate) and Emma (Ashley) Stanton. Sam is very good at sports but Emma is not. Emma is into boys. They join their dads soccer (football) team when it goes co-ed, they are on differet teams. They switch places and a boy asks out Sam because he thinks its Emma. This is where the fun begins. I don't want to spoil the end. It's a great film. I love it!
