A brilliant box set for any Peppa Fan.......2007-02-15

I bought this for my daughter, who adores Peppa Pig!! Its brilliant and real value for money. It has 32 episodes in all, and keeps little ones entertained. Although I did get mine cheaper from a well known record store on the high street!!!!

Peppa Pig is one of the few cartoon series made for children that adults might enjoy bits of too.
The animation is visually appealling, the characters are good fun and the stories are well thought out. These are especially good for young siblings, as many of the tales show Peppa and her young piglet brother George learning to get along.
Peppa Pig also has elements of humour that both young and old can enjoy - it's not The Simpsons, but it does make me chuckle.

This Triple pack of dvd's keeps my 4 yr old daughter entertainted for ages! Would definately recommend. Good value for 3 dvd's

misleading photo.......2006-01-10

the advert photo shows that the 3 titles in this pack are 'secrets'. 'flying a kite', and 'muddy puddles'. It also suggests buying this 3 pack in addition to 'new shoes'.... however, 'new shoes' is included in the 3 pack instead of 'secrets', so unless you want 2 copies of 'new shoes, don't do it!

Poker Oldie.......2002-12-20

This film is about a young poker player (Steve McQueen), in the 1960s, who has the reputation of being one of the best stud poker players around. But, in order to prove himself, The Cincinnati Kid has to face the ultimate battle in a showdown against the ultimate player.

Although the concepts of poker in the film are still useful today, the reason I only gave it four stars is because it is very dated and old-fashioned. However, it is an interesting film with some great poker action and is definitely worth buying.

an outstanding steve mcqueen in the most breathtaking and increadible gathering of high rollers in the most wonderful play of poker ever.u just have to see it and who knows?maybe u will learn something about this game

Trigun Series.......2004-02-19

The trigun series is about a man named Vash the Stampede who has a 60 billion double dollar bounty on his head. The thing is no one believes that this man is Vash because he is either incredibly stupid or incredibly good at what he does. This series is a competitor to Cowboy Bebop. It is a different style and does not have the same superb soundtrack as Cowboy Bebop but is extremely well done.

THe story unfolds over 26 episodes and the characters in the series are well developed. Overtime the series gets better and better with the beginning i.e. episode 1 being a little slow to kick off. About 6 episodes in however Vash becomes more serious and a deeper plot unfolds.

I highly recommend this series as it is a good laugh and will entertain those of you who like a lot of action and a little philosophy alongside. Definitely a buy for the Manga collector.
