I watched this video with my friend's grandchildren and it was so beautiful. I bought my son the LP years ago and now I am determined to buy the video for his little son. The visual is even better than the LP.

This video is a must have in any children's collection! My mother bought the record for me in the 70's when I was a little girl and I used to listen to it over and over again while I was colouring or doing crafts. When I heard it again it brought tears to my eyes and I got goosepimples! A great video to purchase for children who are taking piano lessons, including an important moral. It tells a story of a little boy who dreams that his piano can talk to him and play itself. The boy dreams that he & his self-playing piano go on tour playing for live audiences all over the US including venues such as New York's Carnegie hall...until the piano refuses to play any longer. In the end, the boy awakens and resolves to practice his piano lessons until he can play at least as well as his piano teacher. Music includes selections from Chopin, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff & more.
