If you have ever heard of Al Jolson, and you like his tunes, you'll love this! Larrk Parkes potrays Jollie down to a t! This is the first of a teo part set. 'The Jolson Story' and 'Jolson Sings Again.' This, i personally think is the better of the two, but i like the fact that in the second instalment, Larry Parkes playing Jolson, meets himself when they show the making of the first film! Confusing or what!!???!!

Anyway, the great Jollie songs are featured in this film, featuring, California Here I Come, Swannee, My Mammy, Toot Toot Tootsie, Rockabye Your Baby, and many more greats! I think this is one of the best films that I have seen, and it potrays Jolson's life excelently! The only hick-up is that Jolson's mum died when he was younger.

So, anyway, if you buy this, you will not regret it!!!!
