tractor tom has no voice.......2007-10-01
What a disappointment! My two year old adores tractor tom, its generally a wonderful program that parents can find amusing too, so i bought haywire hens for my little boys birthday and what a disappointment, Tractor tom has no voice! These episodes must be from near the beginning of the series and are narrated by liza tarbuck and james nesbit but tractor tom and co have yet to be voiced and its nowhere near as good! Take my advice and spend your money on 'Buzz to the Rescue' its much better and has some great episodes on it.
dramatic & touching........2007-03-15
Every single story of Tractor Tom series are so lovely & very funny. I never used to like CG Animation before I found tractor Tom series. I really admire all those beautiful, interesting and clever works, with full of thrilling actions and sweet & touching stories.
Especially in this DVD, I love the moment that Matt is flying in the "sky" like a tiny insect, by a Woolly Warrior ( a sheep)'s throw, and Tom is also making a marvellous jumping to the sky to make a 7-sheep-leap, in the episode "Rodeo". They really look magnificent.
"A Surprise For Fi" on this DVD is, one of the greatest episodes in all the Tractor Tom stories, I think. Very touching. It's Fi's birthday, and she spends a most worrying day because Riff (a sheep dog) is missing for long. (In real life, a dog could get a car accident somewhere, or munched by a neighbour's pet snake or - - -so, missing Riff for that long and searching for her everywhere on the farm in this episode feels really worrying.) Anyway, It's very fun to see what everybody chose for the birthday present for Fi(?) at the end.
"Big Hole" is a story about; Tom tries to dig through the Earth, all the way down from their farm to Australia - - - to give Fi a round-a-corner holiday but a quite proper one. It's rather touching to see how everybody works so hard to dig through the Earth in the miserable rain, for Fi. And also it's nice to see that a good boy Tom is nagged at by Fi, for change. The serious danger and all the mess are actually made by Tom's fault in this episode .
I always really admire the way of showing loving and caring family & friends(as family) in Tractor Tom episodes. It's always rather wild & funny but actually realistic. It is rather dramatically shown especially in this DVD.
My copy didn't have a poster though.

excellent.......2007-07-04
Admittedly not really long enough but we are loving sunflower valley instead of Bobsville.
Episodes: Bob's Big plan, Bob's fresh start, Lofty's shelter, and Dizzy and the Talkie talkie. Plus if you play the game there is a bonus episode: Mr Ellis' exhibition.
I think you definately need to get this one before any of the other project build it series.

Teen Titans Season 4 (Simply the Best!).......2008-01-22
This is the forth season, and in my opinion the best season, of the popular TV show "Teen Titans". The team consists of Robin (the obsessive leader), Raven (the mystical Goth), Starfire (the beautiful alien), Cyborg (the robotic athletic) and Beast Boy (the shape-changing clown).
This box-set contains all thirteen episodes in season four in the order they were aired (except for "Cyborg the Barbarian" and "The Quest" which have been swapped): Episode 257-494 (Control Freak, aka Count Freako, is back, and this time he's taken the Titans into his world!), The Quest (While Robin is out trying to find the True Master, the other Titans play dress-up), Birthmark (Slade is back, but why is he after Raven?), Cyborg The Barbarian (Cyborg is thrown back into the past... can he save the day before his battery runs out?), Employee of the Month (Beast Boy's desperate efforts to get a Moped result in him getting a job... but there's something about Bob), TROQ (The Titans meet Val-Yor, but is he really the hero he appears to be?), The Prophecy (Slade forces Raven to tell the other Titans her secret, but not before we see what her powers can really do!), Stranded (The Titans crash onto a strange new world, can they survive the horrors?), Overdrive (Billy Numerous is the Texan thief who loves spending quality time with himself, but he's no match for an upgraded Cyborg... is he?), Mother Mae-Eye (A psychedelic adventure involving a vast amount of pie, Raven in a dress and Beast Boy in a bunny suit), The End - Parts 1 to 3 (Will Raven be sacrificed to fulfil her destiny: to bring about the end of the world or can the Titans save the day. The stakes are high. Which Titan is strong enough to fight Trigon, the incarnation of evil?)
The special feature with season four is another part of "Teen Titans: Know Your Foes". An excellent extra which looks at some more villains we love to hate: Control Freak, Bob and the Source, Billy Numerous, Mother Mae-Eye and Trigon, with input from key production staff. There are also some trailers (but no trailer for the greatly anticipated "The Judas Contract").
As with the other three box-sets, the DVD contents were gold. I especially loved to sit down and watch the entire Raven arc (Birthmark, The Prophecy and The End) all together like a movie. The only thing I didn't like about this collection was the cover. I love Robin as a character, and he deserved to be the prime character on the front of Season 1, but Season 4 belongs to Raven, and she should've been the main Titan on the front!
I hate to sound cliché, but if you're only going to buy one Teen Titans DVD... buy this one!
