Batman: The Animated Series, Vol. 4.......2006-04-05
These new episodes are different and not the same, due to the fact it was made along side Superman. There are some good episodes like Old Wounds and Legends of the Dark Knight.
The Special Features are not good, just a commentary on a few episodes.

The end of a great series!.......2005-06-28
Once again we have a superb cast providing their voices and giving the characters some cool personality and backbone such as Kevin Conroy who as always plays Batman with his gravelly voice and dry wit, Loren Lester as Robin the sidewick, Efrem Zimbalist Jr as Alfred, Batman's sardonic butler, Mark Hamill as the Joker, a deranged madman, etc.
The newest volume in the collection hails the arrival of Batgirl in a 2-part story "Shadow of the Bat" where Two Face gets Commissioner Gordon arrested by starting rumours about Gordon accepting bribes from Rupert Thorne, so Batman & Robin investigate, but when Batman goes undercover to find out the truth he gets captured by Two Face and his thugs.
Well that's all you're getting for now, hope you enjoy the last boxset of this fantastic show!

The Best Gets Even Better.......2008-02-28
The second instalment of the acclaimed series!.......2005-06-07
But he comes back for a second time in Day of the Samurai to kidnap Yoru Sensei's best student as a challenge for Batman to battle him one last time. The newest villain is the Riddler(Edward Nygma)who gets sacked from his job at a software company who immediately starts terrorising his old boss which means Batman & Robin come to the rescue, they then have to enter Nygma's own maze and save his boss from death, Nygma returns once more and begins causing havoc for banks and the stock exchange.
Whilst all this is going on a box arrives at Police Headquarters, Batman & Robin manage to crack the puzzle and discover a huge computer mainframe within, Robin hacks into the program to check it over but gets careless when Commissioner Gordon puts on one of the virtual reality helmets and gets trapped in the system leaving Batman to enter the program and save him!
The extras is fantastic, there's an interview with a few members of the cast including Kevin Conroy (Batman), Mark Hamill (The Joker), Adrienne Barbeau (Catwoman) & Efrem Zimbalist Jr (Alfred), as well as various writers and the team behind the show. I cannot praise this show enough for giving me hours of enjoyment watching Batman battle on foe after another throughout, I can't wait to buy Volume 3 when I get the chance, go on buy it, it's the best thing you'll ever do!

STUNNING!.......2006-02-13
I adore the artwork and animation!.......2005-06-25
I already own all three volumes of Batman: The Animated Series Region 1 boxsets and I agree with another viewer who commented on the shoddy way the United Kingdom release DVDs with three to four episodes a piece, at least with these you get hours of entertainment, every episode from the show and good clear surround sound to accompany the series!
Remember this, get these boxsets whilst you can for all those who like Batman and own a Multi-region DVD player, because if not you're missing out on a classic cartoon!
Brilliant series with the UK being ripped off again!.......2005-06-23
At the moment the UK is getting the episodes released in small volumes, no doubt larger volumes such as this with appear in R2 eventually but who wants to wait a year before they can get them when multiregion players are so cheap?
Take my advice and buy this and the other 2 volumes rather than the sorry R2 offerings, you won't regret it!
Oh and by the way this volume does have the Cat and The Claw episodes, the previous reviewer must not have read the episode list properly!
