New Thomas is Great.......2005-12-30

Bought this for my 3 year old son by mistake thinking it was the Old Thomas. However, he loved it more than any of his other Thomas DVD and now it's the one he asks for every day. The stories are great and the music is brilliant. Highly recommended.

A New Five Star Theme Song.......2004-12-31

I got this DVD for my nephew and he thought the new theme song was great.The other theme song is stupid and annoying.The thing I dont like is the motion of the stories. My favorite story is thomas and the Tuba because its funny that the tuba player gets left behind. I dont think Americans are crappy. I dont think Eurpeans are either. The guy on the other review who said Americans are crappy is negative and disrespectful to us.This DVD was great.

Brings back memories.......2004-06-24

I bought this DVD for my 2 year old grandson as my 19 year old son loved Thomas & friends as he was growing up.
Although it has changed a lot since my son watched it for the first time 17years ago, my grandson really enjoyed it and he is now hooked.
A great pleasure to watch and we are looking forward to buying more.

Where's the original theme tune???.......2004-06-02

The golden rule is "If it aint broke then don't try and fix it". The makers of Thomas have decided to scrap the old theme tune, which my kids loved, with some electronic keyboard type affair which in my opinion is nowhere near as good or memorable. This new tune detracts from the Thomas experience but overall the stories are good and similar to all other episodes which kids know and love...

THOMAS TO THE RESCUE:
Thomas wonders if diesels will take over after Diesel calls him a 'stinky old steam engine'. But when the diesels get a load of bad fuel, it's Thomas to the rescue!
HENRY & THE WISHING TREE:
Henry wants to pull the Express instead of hauling logs. After coming across the Wishing Tree, his wish comes true. But he soon feels unhappy. Will his second wish come true?
THOMAS & THE TUBA:
Thomas is to take the Brass Band to the park as a treat for Lady Hatt's birthday. But Thomas is in so much hurry, he leaves the tuba player behind. Will the party have to be canceled?
SQUEAK, RATTLE & ROLL:
Gordon is afraid he'll be scrapped due to makng strange noises. Will Gordon inform his problems or instead try to hide them?
PERCY'S NEW WHISTLE:
Percy tries blowing his whistle as loud as a diesel. But it's so loud, he is told to use his whistle only at important times. But will Percy blow a warning whistle for Thomas who's in peril?
THOMAS & THE FIREWORK DISPLAY:
Thomas wishes he could deliver the stock for the Firework Display but James is chosen instead. However, James soon has a breakdown...

Good stories to start Season 8 in the UK! And even better, the episodes are to be 7 minutes long instead of the usual 5!
