I first saw Yu Gi Oh on telly in America and became hooked, so naturally when it started airing on Saturday mornings in the UK I made sure I was watching it. Now that it's on DVD I can catch up on the episodes I missed.

Yu Gi Oh is an excellent cartoon series, the story so far is that it is based around a card game which it calls duel monsters and a young boy Yugi who plays it. The person that designed the card game has stolen Yugi's grandfather's soul. Now Yugi is going to win a tournament to retrieve his soul.
These next three episodes show the continuation of his journey through the tournament and a re-match against an old adversary?

This is a good, well thought out series with engaging characters and some very impressive monsters. Perfect for kids and big kids alike.

The third volume of Yu Gi Oh features yet another free booster pack, this time a Spell Ruler pack. There are some nice cards available with this expansion set and it makes a nice change from the Metal Raiders set.

The first episode in this volume sees Yugi challanged to a duel by Mako Tsunami, the top ranking water duelist. Playing on a field with an advantage given to water monsters, can Yugi overcome the terrors of the deep? The second episode features Mokuba, younger brother of Kaiba, escaping from Pegasus's clutches and seeking out Yugi for a duel. His motives? Revenge for his brothers defeat at Yugi's hands. But Pegasus has ambitions of his own that include taking over the Kaibi Corporation. The third episode see's Yugi being challanged to a duel by Kaiba himself, or so it seems at first. For it is in fact an evil copy made from the greed and hunger for power that Yugi free from Kaiba's soul. But while Yugi defeated Kaiba once, this time he doesn't have the Exodia cards to rely on. Can Yugi defeat the power of the Blue Eyes White dragon without it?

Brought back memories.......2001-09-10

From Chorlton to jamies torch, this one brought back good memories, the choice of stories is good and the qaulity us ok. Phenela the witch in chorlten has me in stiches!!, jamies surreal world is as visually stunning as it was over 20yrs ago. Dangermouse and penfold are ofcourse far better than 007, add to tthis duckula,button moon and rainbow - this appeals to grownups and children alike!
