This follow-up to the surprise Disney hit about a hockey team of misfits brings Emilio Estevez back to the role of the kids' yuppie coach. This time, Estevez assimilates his Ducks into the higher-stakes Team USA in the Junior Goodwill Games, an opportunity that could bring fame and money. Entirely perfunctory, this sequel is basically an excuse to revisit the eccentricities of some of the younger characters, extend some of their conflicts into adolescence and showcase their allegedly entertaining but ethically dubious abilities on the ice. Estevez is okay but even he had enough after this movie. --Tom Keogh

all i can say is that this film was great, good plot storyline, all the old characters, was disappointed at there being no tommy or tammy duncan in it, plus the pike!!! but hey good movie, all i can say is hope they make a fourth and keep going

mighty ducks rox it is 1 of my faveourite movies i could watch this over and over again infact i actually do. i wish i could be in the movie but i no i am just dreaming. anyway, i love this movie and i try 2 do my best 2 find out everything about mighty ducks and would appreciate anything from anyone about them. its not so much the cute boys in the movie but just watching hockey games now is so interesting than before i watched the movie. it even encouraged me to start playing hockey!!!

Moving to the International Stage!.......2000-10-24

After seeing the original Mighty Ducks movie, i just HAD to see this sequal, and I'm happy to say that it lived up to my expectations! It's the season after the Ducks won the State Chamionships and their coach arrives home from a failed attempt at playing in the minor-league. The Ducks go on to represent the USA in the Junior Goodwill Games, where they face VERY stiff opposition from the bigger, stronger Iceland Team. Luckily the Ducks have some reinforcements from other parts of the USA to help them along the way - an Inforcer named Portman, a female goalie from Maine, an Olympic figure skater, a cowboy from Austin, Texas and a speedster from Miami. Obviously it isn't a smooth ride, the team have their disagreements and coach Bombay gets brainwashed by the Big-Money endorsements, but the Ducks regain their magic and I'll leave you to watch the movie to find out the rest! Truly gripping stuff. A funny family film that EVERYONE should watch!

If you want to show a young child a 'Christmas like atmosphere' then this DVD is great. My wee boy loves Rupert and his friends and this DVD has not disappointed. Jack Frost makes an appearance and cleverly lets us know how winter and spring happen. Beautiful colours and graphics. Role on next Christmas till we start preparing for Santa with Rupert!!
