High school musical is to chessy with a bad storyline. There is to much hype about high school musical and in truth it is really terrible. DON'T BUY THIS DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheesy and completely overated.......2007-08-13

I asked for this as a christms present, because everybody I knew had loved it, and recommended it. It started out ok, but ir all started to go wrong when they did the karaoke. Cheese anyone? The songs made me cringe. It was like a cheap Greece write-off, nowhere near as good as the poplare fifties movie. Lets face it, disney is not talented at creating movies for anyone over the age of 8. My advice is they should stop trying.
Unfortunately, it is clear that a second 'High School Musical' Is on the way and maybe even a third; filled with more 'catchy' songs that you will here time and time again.
Spare yourself the grief; if you have not yet seen this movie do not buy it. Unless you wish do so for someone with little depth, or perhaps who can find no other way to spend their time besides watching cheesy musicals.
And remember an hour and half of this is certainly that which you will never get back.

One of the worst films ever seen!.......2007-01-03

This has to be one of the worst films i have ever seen. I decided to watch it in the christmas holidays because everyone had said what a brill film it was, with loads of catchy songs.
I began watching it. It was appauling. It was sad, corny and cheaser than a block of cheese! The actors were appauling and the dance that the leading boy did with the basketball team was just plain embarassing.
I think this film is aged at a 2year old because it is just plain awful! If anyone is thinking of watching it. DONT!!!!!

BEST MOVIE EVER!.......2006-11-20

High School Musical is so cool! I've watched it a million times and it's still not boring. It's the kind of movie that you love the first time and soon you love it so much that you know all the lyrics off by heart when you don't even know it! It's great for anyone to watch - particuarly ages 8 - 16. You don't haveto have a voice as professional as the movie stars to sing! All that matters is you enjoy yourself and have fun!

Great for kids like me!.......2006-09-30

I really like this film, i'm not a one who sings that much but even though I don't this film got me singing along to every beat, Not what you would expect from a musical of course, but this is what kids love! It's got a bit of everything! Hip Hop, Pop, slow music, just everything. Everyone in my school went crazy about it too! They are allways like, Did you see High school Musical? It was terricic! Let's play High School Musical, Let's do a High School Musical theme based Musical!

If i love my friends love it, then so will you!

Mind Games or reality?.......2008-01-08

At last one of the finest low budget films of British mystery drama has been released on DVD...First screened in 1957. it seems to have languished in the film vaults for the past fifty years apart from a couple of showings on daytime TV.
A superb plot and script provides an atmosphere combining unbelievable disbelief, fear and reality. Anne Baxter in the lead role as the well known heiress fearing for her life, provides a true and convincing performance. Richard Todd - as the assumed dead brother plays his part to perfection..Supported by Herbert Lom as Inspector Vargas, Alexander Knox as Uncle Chan and Faith Brooke as the house guest this is a film which should surprise the most jaded film buff with it's unique twists and turns. A classic British film of mystery and suspense that should be recognised in the catalogues for years to come.
