Beginner, pro or even just fan of dave matthews band, this DVD is definitely worth getting your hands on. Has great tips particularly on broken hi-hat styles and open handed play. Carter is both thorough in his explanations and yet easy to understand. Anyone who watches this DVD will be both inspired to drum and embarrased at the same time, but certainly not through any showing off from the man himself! Features some great live footage of the Dave Matthews band too. Definitely recommended!!!

This - along with Mike Portnoy's Liquid Drum Theater - is the best drum DVD I've bought. I gained a lot of new insights from Carter, especially about open-hand drumming, rather than my old cross-over style. Think a drum setup rethink is definitely in order. Carter Beauford is interesting, absorbing, extremely dynamic and also modest. I enjoyed his drumming and his thoughts. Lots to see here and even more to learn. Chuffed to bits!

I went out and bought Under the Table and Dreaming on CD too. Cool album.
