I got this on video in the 80s and was quite dissaponted with it after realisng that Margie Singleton who was listed was conspicious by her absence.
This I thought was outrageous ane even more annoying is the waste of space that some clown called Doodles Weaver took up.
He was supposed to be the one who had been commissioned to find all the artists but in the end Marty Robbins did it.
The story is virtually no existent and just the usual escuse to parade all the acts.
But this is a good way to see the Stoneman Family and Johnny Cash with the Carter Family
Country music has never been well served on film and this sort of movie gives it a bad name
