Definately worth watching. I loved every second of this, wonderful music, lyrics, atmosphere. I will be so bold as to say you will love this.

A bit disappointed.......2004-05-15

There is a lot of repetition on this DVD. The bonus track from the Isle Of Wight, e.g., offers only a few seconds from that performance and in stead again a lot of Hollywood Bowl footage is shown. The same holds for the Soft Parade documentary. I'm disappointed because in my opinion it would have been better to include The End at the Isle Of Wight (complete on Message To Love documentary) if there are only a few segments available of the IoW Break On Thtrough performance (but maybe there is much more?)because too much repetion is simply boring

Exellent, but could be just a little better.......2004-03-02

When i watched this DVD i was quite pleased. It contains most of their live tv performance, music videos and live concerts. The only annoying thing is two videos in particular 'riders of the storm and Hello, i love you. With 'Riders of the storm' i was expecting a music video (as there is one available), but i was gutted to find that all it was, was a black screen with credits rolling with the music in the backround. With Hello, i love you, you get to see the video, but the credits ruin it yet again by going over the screen.
Other than that it was an exellent purchase, and well worth buying!!!!!!

Compelling poetic geometries of lyrical daub.......2003-12-25

I purchased this, my first Doors DVD, and possibly the only one I'll ever need. This plays like an epic music video of the Doors legacy, their Hollywood Bowl concert starting off a three hour interspersion of live music, backstage clips, interviews and raw studio footage, encompassing music at its spiritually purest.

This is a first rate purchase and a great way to celebrate the return of the Doors in their fresh 21st century guise.

What Can I Say.......2002-06-18

This came along at just the right time. I already owned the individual video of each of the 3 titles included here but, through constant playing, these now needed replacement. This is great value for money.

The Hollywood Bowl concert provides you with a visual experience of a Doors concert when they were at the height of their powers.

The Soft Parade PBS show provides a look at The Doors following the debacle at Miami. The programme was made to showcase the band as they were unable to tour following the almost blanket ban on their live activities by the promoters. This was the only way to see the band perform tracks from the album.

The collection of promo films acts as a "best of". You even get the notorious Light My Fire performance from the Ed Sullivan Show. Ed requested that the Doors change their lyrics to omit "Girl we couldn't get much higher". So they did in rehearsals and then Jim screamed it out in the live performance. No more Doors on the Ed Sullivan Show.

Well worth investing in.
